it must have been my day!
a) i like drizzling rain
b) it was gospel choir day at the Catholic church down the street
c) the ladies in front of me at Tops were foreign so I politely asked them if they were speaking Kiswahili (in Kiswahili) and we had a pleasant conversation. in Kiswahili. and they were impressed. so was I. still decently functional...

Hongera sana! Nafikiri unajuwa Kiswahi kabisa.
Three words. Indian Ocean. Sun. Snorkeling. Ok, it's four. And I'm being cruel. A rough weekend. Habari za weeki endi? Enjoy the Buffalo snow :)
Kaka yako
that sounds like a good day, I wish I knew a functional language instead of two worthless dead languages like Koine Greek and Biblical Hebrew.
i think ben is funny.
i do understand your joy at the kiswahili bit. i just had a conversation with my 2-year-old nephew in straight tagalog (grammatically correct on my part!) and i am patting myself on the back. nevermind if the conversation consisted of my telling him to stop banging on my keyboard, please.
